What are the essential ingredients for the perfect Friday night? A nice bar with a long and adventurous collection of fine spirits and cocktails? Check. Some comfy seating that you can reserve in advance? Check. Delicious food from Pizza Express delivered direct to your table? Check. Some tasty uplifting tunes that are bouncy enough to make you wanna D.A.N.C.E., but not so in-yer-face that you can’t spend the evening lounging at the bar if you prefer? Check, and indeed, check.
We start the evening with the cheeky Roulette Set from 7 till 9pm, where AKA’s DJ pals get the chance to play the sets you never thought you’d hear. Michael Jackson vs Prince? Parental Advisory Hour? The Horn Section? You never know quite what to expect, and that’s half the fun
At 9pm, we hand over control of the decks to the serious house heads. We’ve got a big family of promoters who take it in turns to rule the Friday roost, from MN2S’s US grooves, to Blonde’s sophisticated underground house vibes; from Peppermint Jam’s vocal uplifting sounds, to Ninja Cowboy Cozzy D and his deeper shade of house.
What’s more, our Classic Cuts drinks promotion runs early evening until 8pm, meaning you can take advantage of premium house spirits and mixers, bottled beers or a large glass of house wine for only £3, bottles of house wine for £9 and selected cocktails for £5.
